چکیده

Background: Future places for learning and working are digitally physically integrated hybrid environments. The archetypical context of is the classroom, office; especially in knowledge work. New information communication technologies enable spatial reconfiguration work opening possibilities to take place across multiple locations. Co-Designing Collaborative Smart Classroom Curriculum for Secondary School Science

This paper introduces a series of iterative designs that investigate how the aggregation and visualization of student-contributed work can support collaborative problem solving in the domain of physics. We investigate how new technologies can enable students to contribute to a shared knowledge base, working across contexts: in class, at home, and in a specialized “smart classroom” environment. ...

Co-design methods for designing with and for families

This paper describes co-operative design work regarding the development of IT artefacts to be used for communicating within families. It shows advantages of codesigning together with users. Thereby obtaining ‘real life’ experience, understanding and knowledge about their needs and desires. Since there was no specific solution or technology in mind from the beginning, several different methods w...

Designing with Users: Co-Design for Innovation in Emergency Technologies

In this paper, we motivate the need for collaborative research and design for IT innovation in crisis response and management. We describe the value of such methodology and demonstrate how working alongside users enables creative anticipation of emergent future practices that can inform both more ‘appropriate’ and more ambitious innovation. We demonstrate how co-design methods are particularly ...
